High-Precision Tile Feeding

All Wolfe drainage plows feature a tough tile power feeder that can be fitted for 4" - 6" (10.1 cm - 15.2 cm) diameter plastic tubing. A special shoe converts the machine for clay tile installations.

The innovative power feeder eliminates tubing damage of stretching while maintaining a constant, steady feed of tile.

Big Power On Board

The Wolfe trenchless plow lets you choose from Caterpillar or Cummins engines in 250, 320 or 400 horsepower (186, 242 or 298 kW). For every soil condition and tile laying job, Wolfe gives you more engine options.

Powered through pressure compensated hydrostatics - not gears and chains - Wolfe plows are the ultimate in maneuverability. The sturdy Sundstrand hydrostatic transmission with autotorque limiter comes standard. It powers each track independently with pressure-compensating hydrostatic drives for top performance under all-weather North American conditions.

The result is constant power and variable speed adjustment to each track - for full power turns during operation without loss of traction. That's maneuverability!

Postive-Attitude Control Saves Time

All three Wolfe plow series can be ordered with positive-attitude and automatic tilt-angle compensation. In fields with diverse soil types, irregular moisture conditions and grading, this valuable option speeds up installation and saves you time and labour.

Versatility For Longer Work Seasons

Superior flotation characteristics in every Wolfe plow let you work more days each year under varying soil conditions.

The advanced Wolfe design places the chassis a full 28" (71.1 cm) above the ground for optimum clearance. Even the weight distribution over the two extra-wide tracks means top response.

Both weight and design are carefully balanced to ensure low ground pressure and minimal soil compaction even in the boggiest areas.

Straight-Edge Grading & Installation

Accuracy is the key, and the extra long beam parallel linkage on Wolfe plows controls the mole blade for exacting precision on smooth tile or tubing installations. The blade itself is positioned for low attack angle which diminishes soil resistance and compaction.

An added measure of control from a special back-pressure variable system transfers more weight to the tracks under hard conditions. In unstable and soft subsoil conditions, the beam can be controlled to maintain positive attitude.

An optional tilting frame on the 320 and 400 hp (242 and 298 kW) series adjusts the tilt angle for even greater accuracy.

Logical-Design Operator's Station

Wolfe lets you really operate! The operator's station is conveniently located on the parallel beam to give you the feel and view of the mole's action. Full 360º visibility lets you operate hands-on while directing other work at the site.

An easy-to-read control panel monitors all plow functions and gives you information in a flash. Highly accessible controls monitor the depth, grade and attitude of the shoe through your choice of laser of electronic tracking systems.

Wolfe plows feature an all-weather operator's cab - standard - with optional heating or air-conditioning for day-in, day-out comfort all year long.
